I was just confused as to why you got that amount of people and why I was getting a different one. And then I noticed we were using slightly different equations. So I took something proven -- the world census data from between 1990 and 2010 (which is twenty years) -- and used it to test your equation to see if it holds. So see I know that 1 + 1 = 2. So since I know that I know that if an equation with 1 + 1 doesn't equal 2 then the equation is faulty. I used proven data to test the equation.

No. No. No. No. No. 1. This is not “my equation”. IT’S THE MOST WIDELY-ACCEPTED POPULATION GROWTH FORMULA. 2. You did NOT PLUG IN THE CORRECT NUMBERS. THE EQUATION ISN’T FAULTY; YOUR USE OF IT IS. JUST BECAUSE YOU’RE STABBING A FORK INTO YOUR EYE DOESN’T MEAN THE FORK IS BROKEN.
