Why would God go to all the trouble of making dinosaur skeletons, along with those of other extinct animals, and then burying them? If you agree that dinosaurs once roamed the earth, why create an entire group of species just to let them suffer and go extinct? Why would be bother placing light midway between other stars and the earth, so that it would arrive as if it had started traveling millions of years ago? Why not just surround the earth with a globe full of fireflies?

1. It’s called the Flood. Look into it.
2. If he didn’t place light on the way to getting here, and if it actually does take millions of years to get here…he would have an earth waiting millions of years to receive that light, before he could continue with his creation of life. Stupid, much? If you’re God, why wait for that to happen? It doesn’t cost him extra to make light already in the location for his purposes. As for the firefly alternative… Why are you asking me why he chose a more scientific, complex, hardy, powerful, reliable method? For one, it seems obvious, and for another, to ask me would imply it was my decision.
