Worrying about a certain practice is a strong opinion? And what faith do you think I don’t know much about—Catholicism or Christianity as a whole? If it’s the latter, I find that quite presumptuous and insulting that just because I disagree with you, you think I’m ignorant. If the former, I only find that slightly presumptuous and not so much insulting. I likely know more about the basics of Catholicism than you think. I certainly know enough to see serious flaws in the doctrines and principles.
Handed down disciple to disciple, all the traditions and rites are solid, and the doctrine ironed out by some of the greatest scholars in history.
The fact that you have human beings dictating your doctrines is the entire problem. The Bible was written so every man individually can understand what God wants of them. We’re supposed to listen to God, not “important” men who listen to God.
