Universal healthcare does not make a country socialist. Last time I checked, no one considers England, Canada or Australia socialist, yet we have much broader universal healthcare.

Nope, a lot of people do think those countries are going socialist. You don’t have to be a socialist country to have some socialist programs. And pooling the money of the people to redistribute it evenly (in the form of money or its benefits) is the definition of socialism. “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” Try again.
